Claude Code (primary IDE/agent for harmony.ai)
Definition
anthropic’s terminal-resident IDE/agent. Direction emerging from ai-first-design-setup-2026-04-20: harmony.ai standardizes on Claude Code as the primary IDE/agent for both engineering and design. Reasoning:
- Most monday engineers already work in Claude Code over cursor.
- Anything built in Claude Code (skills, commands, prompts) is portable to Cursor; the reverse is not true. So building Claude-Code-first preserves optionality.
- Claude Code Visual (richer UI with chat + click) is even better for designers, but is gated on cost / licensing — see AI-026.

Skills + commands pattern
Claude Code supports user-defined skills (auto-triggered helpers) and commands (explicit slash-invoked actions). Recommended starter set for harmony.ai (per AI-025):
superpowers— does small mockups in mid-task; visual planner; brainstorming helpers (high-leverage skill)skill-creator— meta-skill that helps build new skills- The Notetaker / CRM front-end rules + skills authored by yuval-ezov — reportedly the best in the company
Open questions
- OQ-016 — multi-user co-editing in Claude Code is missing (single-player tool); workarounds exist (shared playground envs Intercom-style) but no native solution
